WHO WE ARE
The mission of the Lewisboro Democratic Committee is to promote Democratic principles and values and to encourage active participation in the electoral process by recruiting, supporting, and electing candidates who subscribe to those beliefs.
We are committed to furthering Democratic values in Lewisboro and support our local democratic elected officials as well as promoting events in Lewisboro
WHAT WE DO
The LDC meets once a month, usually on the first Thursday, alternating between in-person and virtual meetings. We learn about and discuss what’s going on in local, county and State government as it impacts Lewisboro and the broader community.
All Lewisboro Democrats are welcome as guests at Lewisboro Democratic Committee meetings. If you would like to attend, email the Chair to let her know and get the meeting location.
WHY IT’S IMPORTANT
Active, educated and engaged citizens really do shape our community- when we all work together, we support democracy and Democratic values. Helping individual candidates directly, writing postcards, talking to your neighbors, making friends with people who share your political and social values, and going to events can be rewarding and a lot of fun!
